All Free Fire Characters — Complete Character Database

KillarNation's character database covers every playable character in Garena Free Fire and Free Fire MAX, updated for the latest OB patch. Each character page includes full ability details with level-by-level progression, awakened forms, meta tier rating, best character combinations, counter matchups, pricing, lore, and strategy guides. Whether you're building your ranked loadout or choosing your next character unlock, this is the most detailed Free Fire character resource you'll find.

Support Characters

Support characters define the Free Fire meta. DJ Alok leads the entire roster with "Drop the Beat" — a 5-meter aura that heals 5 HP per second while boosting movement speed by 15% for 10 seconds. Dimitri's "Healing Heartbeat" creates a zone where knocked teammates can self-revive, making him essential in squad play. K's "Master of All" switches between Jiu-Jitsu Mode (500% EP conversion) and Psychology Mode (passive EP generation), giving him unmatched versatility. These three characters appear in nearly every competitive squad composition and should be your first unlock priorities.

Assault Characters

Assault characters excel at aggressive play and securing eliminations. Skyler's "Riptide Rhythm" sends a sonic wave that destroys up to five Gloo Walls instantly while passively recovering HP for each Gloo Wall deployed. Xayne's "Xtreme Encounter" temporarily boosts HP by 80 and increases damage to Gloo Walls and shields. Hayato's "Bushido" increases armor penetration as his HP drops, making him deadlier the more damage he takes. D-Bee improves accuracy and movement speed while firing, rewarding players who can aim while on the move.

Tank Characters

Tank characters absorb damage and control space. Chrono's "Time Turner" creates a force field that blocks all incoming damage while allowing you to shoot out, making it one of the most powerful defensive abilities in the game. Orion becomes immune to damage for 3 seconds while draining HP from nearby enemies. Sonia gains a temporary shield instead of being knocked, letting her survive if she secures a kill within the window. Kenta's "Swordsman's Wrath" creates a frontal shield reducing damage by 50%.

Scout Characters

Scout characters provide information advantage. Moco's "Hacker's Eye" tags enemies she hits for up to 5 seconds, sharing their position with the entire team. Her awakened form "Enigma's Eye" extends the mark duration when enemies move. Clu's "Tracing Steps" reveals nearby enemies who aren't in prone or squat position. Shirou's "Damage Delivered" marks enemies who hit you within 80 meters, giving you instant intel on their exact position for a counter-attack.

Healer Characters

Healer characters keep squads alive through sustained fights. A124's "Thrill of Battle" instantly converts EP to HP with a single tap, providing burst healing in emergencies. Kapella passively increases healing effects from all sources while reducing ally HP loss when downed. Steffie's "Painted Refuge" creates a graffiti zone that reduces explosive damage and bullet damage for everyone inside. Combine healers with support characters like Alok for nearly unkillable squad compositions.

Characters with Awakened Forms

Several characters have been granted awakened (elite) versions that upgrade their base abilities. Alok's, Hayato's, Kelly's, and Moco's awakened forms are the most impactful. Awakened abilities often add a secondary effect — Kelly gains extra damage on her first hit after sprinting, Hayato gains frontal damage reduction alongside his armor penetration buff. Unlocking awakened forms requires completing in-game missions and collecting Awakening Emblems.

How Character Abilities Work in Free Fire

Every character except Adam and Eve has a unique ability that can be leveled from 1 to 6 using Character Fragments. Active abilities must be manually triggered and have cooldown timers — use them strategically during fights. Passive abilities are always on and require no activation. You can equip one character's active ability and up to three passive abilities from other characters using the skill combination system. This means your loadout should pair complementary abilities — pair Alok's active heal with Jota's passive HP-on-kill, Hayato's armor pen, and Moco's enemy tagging for a versatile ranked build. Our individual character pages include exact level-by-level stats, optimal ability combos, and weapon pairings for every character in the game.
